To certify the qualities of LA CAMA AZUL products, a study was commissioned from the University of Alcalá de Henares (MADRID). The objective of this report was to study the electrical, magnetic and electromagnetic characteristics of the mattress, mattress protector, cover and pillow that make up the LA CAMA AZUL range. For bed analysis, three types of measurements were made:

• Measurement of the electrostatic field.
• Static magnetic field measurement and 50 Hz ELF.
• Radio frequency measurement.

The study showed considerable reductions in 50 Hz electrostatic and magnetic field levels due to the properties of the components of LA CAMA AZUL. The electrostatic field was significantly reduced. Likewise, all components of LA CAMA AZUL substantially reduced radiofrequency radiation levels—both from external antenna signals and from signals produced by a mobile phone placed 1.5 meters from the bed.
